Rhys Darby gig

I live in LA and saw him do his stand up routine at the El Rey theater Feb. 17. There were 2 shows. It was being filmed for DVD (dubb-video-dubb) release on Warner Bros. We were at the early show. Rhys came riding up on a bicycle built for two ("limo driver" in the front seat), carrying a suitcase. I think Rhys tried to pay the car valet w/New Zealand money to park the bike . There was a Johnny Depp impersonator -- we (the people in line) were instructed by the film crew to ignore Rhys and make a big deal about "Johnny," which we did. Pretty funny. Meanwhile, he put on a great show, sure got a lotta love from the audience.
